Posting Responses and Site Applicants in Recruiting

Describes the differences between Posting Responses and Site Applicants.

This article is for administrators and staffing users.

When you look at the Overview of your Analytics dashboard, most applicants are either Site Applicants or Posting Responses. Here are the differences:

Posting Responses:

A candidate is marked as a Posting Response in Analytics if they came to your company's Careers Page from a job posting on an external site, such as Indeed, LinkedIn, or Craigslist.

Recruiting tracks this source data if your company uses Tracking Links.

Site Applicants:

A Site Applicant is someone who visited your company's website on their own and applied on your Careers page.
