Recruiting: Posting Responses vs. Site Applicants

Describes the differences between Posting Responses and Site Applicants.

When looking at the Overview of your Analytics dashboard, typically, the majority of applicants are Site Applicants and Posting Responses. Here are the differences:

  • Posting Responses:
    • A candidate is marked as Posting Response in Analytics if they arrived to your company's Careers Page from a job posting on an external site such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Craigslist, etc.
    • Recruiting tracks this source data as long as your company is utilizing the Tracking Links.
  • Site Applicants: A site applicant is someone who organically came to your company's website and applied on your Careers screen.
