Create artificial intelligence (AI) generated job descriptions

This article describes how to create artificial intelligence (AI) generated job descriptions.

This article is for administrators.

 

Overview 

AI-generated job descriptions help you create clear and engaging job postings with less effort. This feature can help you: 

  • Save time when writing job descriptions 
  • Attract more qualified applicants 
  • Improve accuracy and grammar 

AI-generated job descriptions are available to all Paycor Recruiting clients.

Create AI-generated job descriptions 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. 
  2. Open the AI Job Description generator from one of the following entry points: 
    1. Select Home > Draft Jobs, then select a job title. 

    2. Select Home > Drafts, then select a job title. 
    3. Select Admin > Job Management, then select the Job Templates tab. 

    4. Select Home > Create a Job
    5. Select Home > Request Job Approval
  3. Complete the required fields to create a job. 
    1. You must enter a Job Title to turn on the Generate button in Build an AI-Powered Job Description. 
    2. If the Generate button is gray, the Job Title field is missing. 
  4. Enter a job title. After you add a Job Title, the Generate button becomes active.
     
  5. Select Generate. A message suggests adding skills for better results. 
  6. Choose one of the following options: 
    1. To add skills, select No, Add Skills. Enter skills in Specific Skills. Use commas or press Enter between skills. Select Generate again. 
    2. To skip skills, select Yes, Continue. The generator adds skills based on the job title. 
  7. Review the AI-generated job description. To view the description in full screen, select the caret to collapse the Build an AI-Powered Job Description panel. 
  8. When all required fields are complete, the Next button becomes available. 
  9. Select Next to post the job. 

Tips 

  • Adding specific skills can improve the quality of the generated job description. 
  • Review and edit the content to match your company's tone and requirements before posting.
