How Do I Cancel My Paycor Recruiting Subscription?

Important:

  • Read this article carefully before you proceed with canceling your account.
  • Because there are many ways a customer can be billed for Paycor Recruiting, it’s important to direct your cancellation to the appropriate team to make sure it is processed correctly.
 

Steps if You Are a Customer Who Uses Recruiting with a Paycor Account

If you are a customer who uses Paycor Recruiting along with other Paycor services like Payroll, Benefits, and Time, and have ATS billing included in your Paycor invoice, follow these steps:

Important:

  • Contact Paycor Support at (800) 381-0053 to cancel or discuss your Paycor Recruiting billing:
    • Make sure to inform the Paycor Support team about how your Recruiting is billed to your company.
    • Have your Client ID(s) ready when you call Paycor Support.
  • We recommend you remove the ATS iframe/careers page from your website first:
    • Work with your web team to remove or replace this information.
    • Close all active job postings and handle any remaining candidates.
    • We will not remove jobs on your behalf, so you should ensure jobs are closed before the account is locked so candidates cannot continue applying.

After notifying the Recruiting team internally about your cancellation, a Paycor representative will contact you with further instructions on how to request your data and manage your account before canceling.

Is Your Recruiting Account Connected to Other Paycor Accounts? 

  • The Recruiting Support team cannot assist with billing or contracts for full suite clients.
  • If you wish to keep your ATS after leaving Paycor, inform the Paycor Team to convert your billing to standalone or direct.
  • You must request a data export of your ATS account; it will not be provided automatically.
  • Your access to Paycor Recruiting will continue until the end of the month you requested to cancel or until you lose access to Paycor, whichever comes first.

Steps if You Are a Standalone Customer or You Are a Former Newton Direct Customer

Process and Requirements

Send an email torecruitingsupport@paycor.comto let us know you want to cancel. Include your reason for canceling and the date you plan to cancel. Email is considered as written notice. Paycor requires a 30-day written notice for all Direct clients canceling Paycor Recruiting.

You must be an administrator in your Recruiting Account to request a cancellation.

When Paycor receives your notice, our billing team will finalize your billing and process the cancellation. We will also provide you with instructions on how to request your data and manage your account before canceling.

Data Exports

Paycor offers a one-time export of your Paycor Recruiting data. 

  • You must request the export. It is not automatically sent to you when you cancel.

Accounts that do not request a data export can expect Paycor Recruiting to purge their account information between 30 and 90 days after canceling.

We cannot send data exports if your account is past-due.

Notes about Paycor Recruiting Billing for Standalone Customers

  • Recruiting is billed as a recurring subscription; it is not usage based. If you don’t plan to continue to use Recruiting, you must request a cancellation, or it will continue to bill.
  • No refunds or credits will be offered to accounts that do not provide written notice in a timely manner.
  • Billing starts on the day you sign your order form.
  • Failure to pay invoices on time may result in being locked out of your Recruiting account without notice, and late fees might be assessed.
  • Paycor Recruiting mostly offers month-to-month subscriptions. There are some occasions when a customer might have signed annual terms – we will alert you if this is the case.

Admin License Cancellation and Removal

  • Like the rest of Recruiting, your administrator licenses are billed as a subscription, not based on usage. You must alert us if you will no longer use an administrator license associated with your account so we can remove them from billing.
    • Inactivating or deleting an administrator does not remove it from your billing; you will continue to be billed for that license.
  • If you remove a user as an administrator, the license is open for someone else to use.
