Describes how to lock a candidate's record.

DESCRIPTION OF LOCKING A CANDIDATE'S RECORD

  • Locking a candidate record prevents all other users (except Administrators) from reading a candidate's comments and reading attachments.
  • The resume is still viewable and searchable, but no other candidate information is.
  • Locked candidates cannot be assigned to other jobs.
  • Pro Tip: If you hire a candidate who becomes an Administrator or Staffing User, we strongly recommend you delete their candidate record.

LOCK A CANDIDATE'S RECORD AFTER MAKING A NEW HIRE

  1. In Recruiting, navigate to the Candidate's Record.
  2. Click the Info icon () to open the Candidate Info screen. 
  3. On the left side, click Lock Record.
