Setting the Remote Status field on a job

Information about the Remote Status field on job records.

Overview 

The Remote Status field on the Job Record shows where the job is performed. This setting helps job seekers understand work location and helps you filter jobs on your Careers Page. 

You can select one of the following options: 

  • Remote: Work is fully away from a physical office. 
  • Hybrid: Work is a mix of remote and on-site. 
  • On-site: Work is fully in a physical office or not remote. 

Steps to use the Remote Status field 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform. 
  2. Open the job you want to update.

  3. On the Job Details screen, select a value from the Remote Status drop-down menu.

Tips 

  • For jobs with a Remote status, use the home-office Location (city, state, and ZIP code). This works best when used with the remote status setting. 
  • Always confirm the selected status matches how the job is truly performed. 

Where the Remote Status Appears 

  • Job Description 
    • The selected Remote Status appears on the job description that candidates see.

    • Candidates can use Remote Status as a filter when searching jobs on your Careers Page.
