Overview
- Locking a candidate record prevents all other users (except Administrators) from reading a candidate's comments and attachments.
- The resume is still viewable and searchable, but no other candidate information is.
- Locked candidates cannot be assigned to other jobs.
- Pro Tip: If you hire a candidate who becomes an Administrator or Staffing User, we strongly recommend you delete their candidate record.
How to Lock a Candidate's Record After Making a New Hire?
1. In Recruiting, go to the Candidate's Record.

2. Click the Info icon (
) to open the Candidate Info screen.
3. On the left side, click Lock Record.
