Allow candidates to submit generic applications in Recruiting

Describes how to grant permissions for candidates to submit generic applications without applying for a specific job.

Overview

Turn on Allow Generic Site Submissions so candidates can send a resume without applying for a specific job. This helps you build a resume bank to use later. Candidates who apply this way go to your Generic Candidate Pool.


Allow candidates to submit generic applications

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. Your Recruiting dashboard opens. 
  2. Select Admin, then select the Careers Page tab. The Careers Page screen displays.Shows the Careers Page 
  3. Go to the Allow people to submit a resume without selecting a job section. Select the checkbox next to Display Generic Site Submission Text
    1. This text appears: <DIV><FONT STYLE="font-size:12px;">Don't see the job you are looking for? You can submit a resume for future consideration by {APPLY LINK - TEXT: CLICKING HERE} </FONT></DIV> 
    2. The text displays like this online: Don't see the job you are looking for? You can submit a resume for future consideration by clicking here.
