Smart Sourcing Guide Step 3. How Do I Create and Post a Job in Paycor Recruiting?

This is Step 3 in the process to setup and use Paycor Smart Sourcing for Recruiting.

Steps to Create and Post a Job in Paycor Recruiting 

1. Login to Paycor and go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.

  • The screen opens to display the Active Jobs in your company.

2. At the top click Request Job Approval

  • The Request Job Approval (Step 1 of 2) screen appears.

3. Complete all required fields in the form: 

  • Review the Paycor Effective Job Description Tips for hints and tips on creating effective job descriptions. 
  • You must also scroll down and mark the checkbox next to the Send this job to Paycor Smart Sourcing field and  select the Smart Sourcing contact.

4. When you're finished, at the top-right click Next

5. When the Success! banner apperas, click Close.

6. If you requested an approval, go to the Approvals tab and the new job appears at the top awaiting the approval. 

7. After the approval is granted (if you requested it), on the Activate this Job screen at the top-right, and click Next

8. When the Step 2 of 3: Posting Settings popup appears, mark the appropriate boxes and at the top-right click Activate! to post the job.

Note:  The Smart Sourcing contact assigned to a position can expect to start receiving candidate profiles for calibration within 1 to 2 days.

This occurs: 

  • After you click Activate!, the Job Newsfeed and Description tab appears for the new job. 
  • Along the top shows the progression of the job post and when it was activated.
