Overview
A tag is a keyword you can add to a candidate's profile to save time searching for candidates to match specific jobs.
The right keywords help you rediscover applicants and organize important information.
Standard users, staffing users, and administrators can add one or more tags to a candidate.
Tags display next to a candidate's name on their profile screen.

Tagging candidates now helps you later. As you and your team add tags, you build a search system and a helpful collection of information to use when new jobs open.
Sample tag categories:
- Skills: C++, HTML5
- Location: Tokyo or San Francisco
- Certificates: CISSP, PMP
- Clearance Levels: SCI, SSBI
Add a tag to a candidate
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- Select the job title the candidate applied to.
- Select the candidate's name.
- At the top, next to the candidate's name, select Add Tag. The Add a Tag window opens.
- Enter a tag and press Enter. As you type, suggestions display based on previous entries you can reuse.
- When you finish adding tags, select the X. The window closes, and the tags display at the top of the profile screen.

Notes:
- Suggestions are based on other tags that were added.
- If there are more than 3 tags on a candidate record, select More... to add more tags.
Search for candidates with tags
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- At the top left, select the Search field, and then select Candidate Search.
- Select Advanced Search to open the Search Options toolbar.
- In the Tags field, enter or select the tags you want to apply as filters.
- Enter any other criteria to filter, and then select the magnifying glass icon. Candidates that include the tags you selected display.
