Recruiting: Offer Approval - Usage Guide (Hiring Managers and Approvers)

Offer Approval user guide for Hiring Managers and Approvers.

HOW DO I BEGIN A REQUEST FOR OFFER APPROVAL?

Click the Offer Stage badge, and select Request Offer Approval.

Complete the required fields as well as any optional fields you’d like to fill out, then click Continue in the upper right corner.

Enter an optional comment and click Submit. Recruiting alerts your Approval Manager that you have submitted the request.

You're finished! Recruiting displays your alert settings for your convenience.

HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF AN OFFER APPROVAL?

As a Standard User, the Approvals tab on your home dashboard displays all offers related to you, offers you’ve requested, and offers you need to approve. You can see here where the offers stand in the approval process.

HOW DO I APPROVE OR DENY AN OFFER THAT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO ME FOR REVIEW?

Click your Requests tab on the left side to view offers that are waiting for your approval. Remember, Green is GO, and Red is NO. You can enter a comment if you’d like.

Click Save when you are finished. At this point, Recruiting alerts the next person in the process if applicable.

Note: The Offer Details screen shown above tracks the approval as it makes its way through the process (e.g. emails and comments, details of the offer). This screen is only accessible to:

  • Users assigned as Recruiters and Hiring Managers for the job
  • Users that are part of the approval process, i.e., Approvers
  • Admin and Staffing Users
