Offer Approval must be turned on.
Offer Approval settings have been set for your organization by an Administrator.
You have access to Recruiting with the appropriate role.
Overview
This article explains how to submit, accept, review, and approve offer details in Paycor Recruiting. The approval process helps ensure offers follow your organization’s rules before you create and send an offer letter.
Submit an offer approval request
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.

Open the candidate profile and select Offer stage > Request Offer Approval.

Complete the Offer Approval Form. Fields with stars are required and must contain a value.
- Select Continue.
- Review the approver information. Based on your team’s settings, this person may be pre-configured, or you may select the appropriate person.

Select Submit.

Success means that your request was submitted successfully.
Review an offer approval request as an approval manager
Use these steps if you are responsible for accepting and reviewing offer approval requests.

Open the request from the email notification or from the Requests area in Recruiting.

Review the submitted information on the Offer Details tab.
- Select one of the available actions at the top of the screen.

Deny Approval rejects the request and returns it to the submitter with notes.

Start Approval adds additional approvers based on a predefined process or custom set of approvers.
- Select Next to email additional approvers.
- Skip Approval approves the offer details without additional input.

When routing to other approvers, review the email preview and select Send Email to start the approval process.
- Monitor the approval chain from the candidate record.

Select an approver’s name to send reminders or approve or deny on behalf of an approver.
Approve or deny offer details as an approver

Open the approval request email.
- Respond by one of the following methods:

Reply to the email and type #approve or #deny, with optional notes in the body of the email.

Select the link in the email to open the Offer Details tab, then select Approve or Deny button and add notes.
Results
After you complete all required approvals, the system records each decision and displays a Create Offer Letter button on the candidate record.
