This article is for managers and users designated as approvers.
Request a job approval
Any standard user can submit a job approval request:
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- Select Request Job Approval.
- Complete the required fields and any optional fields needed. If a job description is required, refer to Formatting Job Posts to Attract More Applicants.
- Select Next.
- Optional: Enter a comment.
- To select your company administrator, select Approval Managers.
- Select Submit. Recruiting alerts your Approval Manager(s) that you submitted the request.
Check the status of a job approval
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- Select the Approvals tab. The Approvals tab shows:
- All jobs related to you
- Jobs you requested
- Jobs you need to approve
- Status of jobs in the overall approval process
Approve or deny a job request
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.
- Select the Requests tab to view jobs that need your approval.
- Select the green icon to approve the job. Select the red icon to deny the job.
- Enter comments if needed.
- Select Save.
