Use job approval in Recruiting

Learn how hiring managers and approvers use the Job Approval feature in Paycor Recruiting.

This article is for managers and users designated as approvers

 

Request a job approval 

Any standard user can submit a job approval request:

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. 
  2. Select Request Job Approval.
  3. Complete the required fields and any optional fields needed. If a job description is required, refer to Formatting Job Posts to Attract More Applicants.
  4. Select Next.Request Job Approval
  5. Optional: Enter a comment.
  6. To select your company administrator, select Approval Managers
  7. Select Submit. Recruiting alerts your Approval Manager(s) that you submitted the request.
    Final Step: Submit Your Approval Request

Check the status of a job approval 

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. 
  2. Select the Approvals tab. The Approvals tab shows:
    1. All jobs related to you
    2. Jobs you requested
    3. Jobs you need to approve
    4. Status of jobs in the overall approval process

Approve or deny a job request

  1. Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. 
  2. Select the Requests tab to view jobs that need your approval.
  3. Select the green icon to approve the job. Select the red icon to deny the job. 
  4. Enter comments if needed. 
  5. Select Save.
