An iFrame allows you to display your Careers page on your company website while managing jobs and content through Paycor.
Benefits of using an iFrame include:
- Faster loading of your Careers page
- Full control over Careers page branding
- More control over Careers page content
Requirements
Before you add an iFrame, make sure you have the following.

Your Company Website
- A current and live Careers page on your company website
- Access to the website HTML editor

Paycor Recruiting
- Access to the Careers Page Admin settings in your Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
iFrame placement checklist
Complete the following tasks to successfully place an iFrame on your Careers page:
- Grant Careers Page access in Recruiting to your website editor or the person setting up your iFrame.
- Update the Hosting Settings in your ATS.
- Add your Careers Page URL to your Careers Page settings in your ATS.
- Add any additional allowed domains or test domains in your ATS.
- Insert the iFrame code from your ATS into your website’s Careers page.

Additional information about provider support
For the providers listed above, we assume iFrame support is based on their native editor, which they provide for ease of use. Their editors might require a plugin to run scripts like the iFrame code on your site.
Advanced HTML customization may allow iFrame placement in unsupported environments. Paycor does not provide guidance for those configurations. If you need additional help, contact your website provider for assistance.
Add an iFrame to your Careers Page
Assign the Careers Website Editor Role
Before a user can place the iFrame code on your website, they must be able to access Recruiting and have the Careers Website Editor permission assigned.
Note: You must be an administrator in Recruiting or be assigned the Careers Website Editor permission to complete these steps.
- Select Admin, then select Users. A list of your current ATS Users appears.

Select the User’s name or select Create a User. The User Information screen appears.
- Under the Additional Permissions section, check Careers Website Editor.

Select Save.
Important: Verify the User can see Careers Page in the Admin menu in Paycor Recruiting. If the User does not see the Careers Page option, contact the administrator and have them follow the directions above to grant you access.
If the website editor is not an employee, consider disabling access after setup is complete and locking the user from your ATS.
In Recruiting, a Standard User cannot view candidate information unless they are assigned to a job.
Add an iFrame for the First Time
- Select Admin, then select Careers Page.

Under Hosting Settings, confirm Use an iframe is selected. If it is not, select it and then select Save.
- The right side of the screen updates with a new layout containing your iFrame code and the following additional fields to complete:
- iFrame Code: The code you will need to embed in your website HTML.
- Allowed Domains: This will automatically fill in when you add your Careers Page URL . If you have multiple domains or want to place the code on multiple sites, please make sure every domain your company owns is listed here.
- Career Page: Enter the full URL of the Careers page you want candidates to use.

CSS Style: Paycor Recruiting automatically adds CSS Style here, you may update it here to match your site once you verify the iFrame loads correctly.
- Once you have updated the additional fields, under the iFrame Code section, select Copy. This copies the code to your clipboard.
- Select Save.

Go to your website’s management system and paste the copied code into your website's Careers page HTML.
Note: Always place the iFrame code between <div> tags. - After you place the code where you want it to display on your website, make sure the iFrame loads correctly and update the preloaded CSS Style in your ATS.
Note: You can switch back to the Paycor-hosted page if you are just testing the iFrame. To switch back to a hosted Careers Page, change the Hosting Settings to Paycor will host our site. 
Troubleshooting
iFrame Does Not Appear on the Website
Review the following items:
- Verify the iFrame code appears exactly as the code displayed in your Careers Page settings.
- Place the iFrame code inside a <div> tag. A <p> tag is not supported.
- Do not place the script in the website header or footer.
- Verify the website protocol matches the Careers Page URL protocol (http: vs https.)
- Go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking to open the Recruiting platform.

Select the Applicant Tracking link to go to the Home Dashboard in your Applicant Tracking System.

Select Admin and then select Careers Page. Select the Settings tab.

In the Hosting Settings section, make sure that Use an iFrame is selected. If it is not, mark it and select Save.

In the Allowed Domains section, makw sure the correct domains are listed.
Branding or Colors Do Not Match
You or your web team will need to update the CSS Style in your Careers Page Admin settings in your ATS.
Note: CSS customization is an advanced task. We recommend that you have a good understanding of CSS before attempting to make updates to your Paycor Recruiting CSS code.
Jobs Are Not Grouped Correctly
You can group your jobs in different ways on your Careers Page:

Go to the How Jobs are Displayed on Your Careers Site section on the Careers tab in your ATS.
- Update the job grouping configuration.
- Select Save.

Select the Careers Page Link to review the changes.
Mobile Experience Does Not Display Correctly
By default, your ATS is set up with a Responsive Mobile page to give your candidates the best experience possible when applying by phone or tablet.
To verify the setting:
- Select Admin, then select Careers Page.

Under Mobile Settings on the Settings tab, make sure Responsive Mobile is selected.
If Responsive Mobile is selected and the mobile experience is still not working, the issue is most likely related to the coding on your website, and not the iFrame itself. To correct:
- Ask your web team to troubleshoot and update your Careers Page to be more mobile-friendly.
- Switch to Push Mobile to allow Paycor to push basic mobile-responsive pages to your site.
