This article includes steps for sending emails to specific candidates and hiring managers in Recruiting.
How Do I Send an Email to Candidates and Hiring Managers?
1. Log in and go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. The Recruiting dashboard appears and shows the Active Jobs in your company.
2. Find the job with the candidate and click the title. The job details screen appears on the Candidate Breakdown tab, listing the candidates.
3. Click the candidate's name, and their job record appears. At the top right, click the envelope icon. An Email popup window appears.
4. Complete all necessary fields. Click Attach to add attachments or drag the files from Document Folders.
5. When you finish, click Send Email.
Notes:
- Use Email Templates to save time. These can be customized in Personal Settings.
- When you click Insert an Invitation, Recruiting attaches a .iCS meeting file. When scheduling colleagues for a phone screen or interview, consider the Recruiting Interview Scheduling tool instead.
