Recruiting: Interview Scorecards - Setup

How to set up interview scorecards

HOW DO I START USING THIS FEATURE IN RECRUITING?

Enabling Scorecards is easy and can be done in the Admin Panel of Recruiting.

  1. In Recruiting, click Admin > Interviews > Interview Scorecards > Settings.
  2. Toggle ON and click Save.

WHAT DO OTHER OPTIONS DO ON THE MAIN SETTINGS PAGE?

  • Scorecard Visibility: Sets Standard Users' visibility on scorecards for jobs they are assigned to. If a Standard User is not assigned to the job, they are only able to view their own submitted scorecards. Admins and Staffing Users can view any scorecard in Recruiting.
  • Score Range: The number range for scoring your candidates. This is a global setting which applies to all candidates—past, present, and future.
  • Scorecard Submission Requests: The default setting for when Recruiting sends alerts to interviewers. The system can also send follow-up reminders on a regular basis if the interviewer has not submitted a scorecard yet. Recruiting send a maximum of two reminders.

HOW DO I SET UP THE SCORECARDS?

  1. On the left, select from the scorecard options.
  2. Click and drag new items from the Form Toolkit to construct or modify the scorecard. You can move around existing items, mark as required, edit, and delete.
  3. The Skills Rating option allows you to collect feedback on a candidate's skills based on a score range. Some can be weighted more heavily if they are especially critical to the role.

Note: These skills ratings do not affect the overall numerical score.

HOW DO I SET UP CUSTOM SCORECARDS?

  1. Click Create a New Scorecard.
  2. Just like editing the default scorecards, set up the custom scorecard using the Form Toolkit. The only additional step is providing a name for the new scorecard.

HOW DO I ADD AN INTERVIEW GUIDE?

While creating or editing a scorecard, you can upload a PDF guide for hiring managers to consult during their phone screen or interview with the candidate.

For a template to work with, click here to download Recruiting's set of sample guides.

HOW DO I PREVIEW A SCORECARD?

  1. Click Preview Edit Mode to see what the interviewer sees while filling the scorecard out.
  2. Click Preview Read Mode to see what everyone else sees when viewing the completed scorecard.
