How Do I Prevent People from Applying to the Same Job Multiple Times in Recruiting?

Describes how mark the setting to prevent people applying to the same job multiple times.

This article is for administrators.

Important: If your organization is not permitted to block applications, regardless of duplicate status, do not enable this feature.

 
  1. Log in and go to People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking. Your Recruiting dashboard appears. Shows the left nav as described
  2. On the top, click Admin and select Careers Page. The Careers Page opens on the Settings tab. Show the Prevent People Applying section
  3. Scroll down to the Prevent People Applying to the Same Job Multiple Times section and click the toggle next to the Enable Re-Application Prevention screen. 
  4. Next, enter an HR Contact Email in case applicants encounter the blocker by mistake.
  5. On the top right, click Save.

This occurs: Recruiting now automatically blocks applications to the same job if the candidate uses the same email address.
