Enable single sign on (SSO) and the Recruiting widget

Learn how admins can turn on SSO and the Recruiting Widget so users can open Paycor Recruiting from Paycor.com without signing in again.

This article is for administrators.

Overview

Recruiting Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to access Paycor Recruiting directly from Paycor without signing in through a separate platform. When enabled, eligible users can also view and access Recruiting information through the Recruiting widget on their Paycor home dashboard.

Turn on Recruiting SSO access for a user

  1. Go to Company > User Access > Access & Registration
  2. Select the user’s name.
  3. On the Summary screen, under the Recruiting Single Sign-On section, select Enable

  4. Verify the user’s email address matches their email setup in Paycor Recruiting.

  5. Select the green check mark, then select OK
  6. If you have multiple Client IDs, repeat these steps to enable SSO for the user on each Client ID.

The user will now have SSO access to Recruiting through Paycor.  They can access Recruiting from Paycor’s homepage menu by selecting People > Hiring > Applicant Tracking.

Grant access to the Recruiting widget

When the Recruiting widget is enabled, users can:

  • View job listings and offers they are assigned to.
  • Access Recruiting directly from the Recruiting widget.

The widget appears only when:

  • SSO is enabled for the user.
  • The user is assigned to active jobs as a Hiring Manager or Recruiter.

Additional Requirements

  • The user must be assigned to jobs with active candidates to see those jobs.
  • The user must be included in an active offer approval flow to see offers.

Troubleshooting

User Cannot Access Recruiting or Sees Errors

If a user experiences any of the following:

  • Error message on the widget
  • Cannot log in from the widget
  • Redirected to a blank page or an invalid URL

Check the following

  1. Confirm the user’s email address matches across all required systems (as noted in the SSO setup steps).
  2. If the email address was recently updated:
  • Disable SSO
  • Re-enable SSO
  1. If the issue persists, reach out to Recruiting Support for assistance.
