Information Requests - Usage Guide

HOW DO I SEND AN INFORMATION REQUEST TO A CANDIDATE?

  1. Go to the candidate's record.
  2. Open the Candidate Info Window.
  3. Click Information Request.
  4. Select an Application or EEO Only to request.
  5. Review and send the email.

Note these practical requirements:

  • The candidate must have a valid email address
  • The candidate must be assigned to a job
  • The job must be active and posted externally or internally
  • The job cannot be marked as Confidential

CAN I REMIND THE CANDIDATE OR RESCIND THE INFORMATION REQUEST?

Yes! Click Rescind or Remind in the system-generated newsfeed entry.

If the request is rescinded, the candidate does not receive additional emails. The link becomes inactive.

HOW DO I EDIT MY INFORMATION REQUEST TEMPLATES?

As with other email templates, click the Gear icon at the top-right, click Email Templates, and make any desired changes.
