How Do I Create Internal Job Postings in Recruiting?

Describes how administrators create and use internal job postings in Recruiting.

Overview

This article is for administrators.

Internal jobs allow existing employees to apply for a job separately from external candidates. As a result, employees are marked as internal applicants in Recruiting.

For complete details see How Do Administrators Create an Internal Hiring App in Recruiting?

Steps to Post an Internal Job

If a job must be available both internally and externally: In the Job Postings section, in Job Info, mark the checkbox Include this job to our Internal Feed.

If the job must be available only internally: In the Job Postings section, in Job Info, mark the checkbox Internal Job Only.

Steps to Send Internal Job Postings to Your Employees

For an Internal and External job: In the Job Postings section, in Job Info, click Copy Link.

For an Internal Only job: In the Job Postings section, in Job Info, click Copy Internal Posting .

Note: You can also set up an Internal Jobs Listing Page with an IFrame  so you don't need to send links. Instead, employees can apply to the jobs from the organization's intranet.
